Columbia Basin Hedgehogs reserves the right to refuse the sell of a hedgehog if we feel the adoption would not be a good fit.

Deposits

The $75 is a service fee to hold a hedgehog or to be put on a waiting list. Therefore is not refundable and will go towards the balance.

You will forfeit your deposit if you schedule a pick up time for your hedgehog and do not show. A no-show will be considered if you have not contacted me at least 30 minutes before your appointment time. Once your hedgehog is ready to go home (date will be posted) you will need to schedule a time to pick up your within 24 to 48 hours of the take home date.

Shipping arrangements can also be made, if needed, at your expense.

Once you are on the waiting list, I will send you a confirmation email. You will then be placed in line. Pictures of babies will be sent to you; in which a response is required within 7 days in order not to loose your deposit.

Hedgehog habitat

You will need to confirm (with pictures) the type of habitat you will be providing for your hedgehog before they will go home with you.

No Breeding

All our hedgehogs are sold as pets only. If you accidently or intentionally breed hedgehogs you are agreeing to pay Columbia Basin Hedgehogs $500 for breeding rights.

Returns

If for any reason you no longer can care for your hedgehog, you are under contract to contact Columbia Basin Hedgehogs. We always will take back our hedgehogs and keep them as residents or find them a new home.
